Skilled Gardeners - Greenthumbs Volunteers
This opportunity provides you with the chance to become part of our friendly team of gardening volunteers at The Hidden Gardens who help maintain this beautiful public greenspace on Glasgows Southside.
Greenthumbs takes place on Wednesday and Friday mornings 10am -1pm at The Hidden Gardens led by The Head Gardener.
We are looking for volunteers who are able to make a regular weekly commitment to keep the gardens looking their best so that everyone can enjoy this sanctuary space which provides an opportunity for all to step off the busy city streets and breathe!
Volunteering at The Hidden Gardens provides you with opportunities to share your gardening skills, gain new skills, discover the wildlife in the gardens and many more exciting opportunities.

Good gardening skills, enthusiasm, willingness to work either individually or as part of a team and happy to be outside in all weathers. Reliable and friendly. Ideally - a gardening qualification.
Pollokshields East train station is less than 5 minutes walk from The Hidden Gardens and is just 1 stop from Glasgow Central Station. Numerous buses leave from Glasgow City Centre. Buses No 3, 38, 57. Get off bus at junction of Pollokshaws Rd and Albert Drive. The Hidden Gardens is 5 mins walk along Albert Drive from the bus stop. Buses 4, 5, 6,7 go along Victoria Rd. Get off near Lidl.
